The Association of Irish Choirs and Cork International Choral Festival are delighted to offer a masterclass for conductors with Brady Allred. The masterclass will be open to established conductors who wish to improve their skills and techniques, working at a high level under the guidance of this highly-regarded conductor and teacher. Each conductor will be expected to have prepared the music in advance and will be allowed at least 30 minutes of 'stand time' and 30 minutes to work with a renowed Irish choir. The masterclass will also be open to observers.

The fee for participating in the masterclass will be €40 (conc. €35). The observer fee will be €10 (conc. €7).

Brady R. Allred, Conductor
Artistic Director and Conductor of the Salt Lake Choral Artists in Salt Lake City, Utah, Dr. Brady R. Allred has developed “an international reputation for excellence.” Under his direction the Salt Lake Choral Artists have achieved critical acclaim and received numerous honours for their innovative performances.
Formerly Professor of Music and Director of Choral Studies at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City and the first recipient of the Ellen Neilson Barnes Presidential Endowed Chair for Choral Studies at the University of Utah, Dr. Allred was recently selected by The Salt Lake Tribune as one of Utah’s Top 25 Cultural Power Brokers and has been featured as conductor, clinician, and jury member at major choral festivals and competitions in France, Spain, Slovenia, Germany, and Indonesia. His MM and DMA in conducting are from the Eastman School of Music, and his B.Mus is from BYU.
