The Cork International Choral Festival is very proud to announce that in the category for Art and Culture, the Festival's Fáilteoirí team was honoured with the Voluntary & Community award.

The Lord Mayor was high in his praise for all the Award recipients: “Tonight’s Awards recognize the contribution which sporting, voluntary and entrepreneurial icons make to this city and offer them a heartfelt thanks on behalf of their own – the people of Cork.  All our recipients are examples of individuals and groups who have decided to make a difference. Through these Awards we say that the city of Cork recognises and appreciates your efforts.  By giving this official recognition, we believe we are reflecting a broad public consensus that this should be done.”
