Afternoon and evening concerts offered audiences the opportunity to hear some of the world’s top amateur choirs competing for the Fleischmann International Trophy, one of the most prestigious choral prizes in Europe. Judged by a panel of eminent musicians and choral experts, the competition was presented in a concert format and featured music from Renaissance to contemporary and compositions from each choir’s home country. It was a great opportunity for audiences to discover the range of interesting music, which was sung to a very high standard.
The Competition was held in two sessions; the afternoon session was at 3pm and the second at 8pm of the same night.
