This 2014 was indeed a celebration of choral music in all its forms, from composition to performance, from Renaissance to contemporary, from small ensembles to large performing groups. Our 60th celebration Festival maintained its diverse mix of events, including Gala Concerts, Fringe Concerts, International Competition of high standing, Seminar on New Choral Music, National Adult and School Competitions, Educational Activities, and Church Performances. 24 visiting foreign choirs and ensembles from Australia, Belarus, Canada, Croatia, Denmark, England, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Israel, Netherlands, Norway, Russia, Slovenia, Sweden, and Switzerland added colour, spectacle, and international diversity to our activities, including our Choral and Sacred Trails, Meet and Greet, and Friendship Concert Series.
