For the duration of the Festival, Cork came to life with song as the Festival brought choral music far and wide, utilising the numerous landscapes and diverse public spaces available in Ireland’s second city. The Choral Gathering Trail alongside the more formal Fringe Concerts, all predominantly free events brought the music and passion of the Festival out onto the street, ensuring that Cork was singing en masse. An extended programme of events also took place countywide from Castletownbere to Cobh in specially selected Gathering Friendship Concerts.

If your venue would like to be considered for the Festival’s Choral Gathering Trail or Gathering Friendship Concerts in 2014 please contact the Festival Office.
