Cantairí Mhuscraí is a mixed voice choir based in Ballincollig and draws its repertoire from a wide range of music including classical, Irish and popular pieces. The choir has performed a number of major works over the years including Handel’s Messiah, Haydn’s Creation, Vivaldi’s Gloria, Masses by Dvorak and Rossini, and Requiems by Fauré, Verdi, Brahms, Mozart and Rutter. The choir has travelled extensively to music festivals throughout Europe including the UK, France, Italy, Greece, Spain, Austria and Poland and most recently to the Rome choral festival in 2019.Cantairí Mhuscraí is a mixed voice choir based in Ballincollig, Cork and draws its repertoire from a wide range of music including sacred, Irish and popular pieces. The choir has performed a number of major works over the years including Handel’s Messiah, Haydn’s Creation, Vivaldi’s Gloria, Masses by Dvorak and Rossini, and Requiems by Fauré, Verdi, Brahms, Mozart and Rutter. Last December it performed in Orff’s Carmina Burana and works by Beethoven at the University Concert Hall, The choir has travelled extensively to music festivals throughout Europe, including multiple visits to France, Spain, Italy, Greece & UK, and also to Austria and Poland.
