Portadown Male Voice choir was formed in 1926 and has long since been considered one of Ireland's finest and best loved choirs. They have toured extensively in Canada, America and Germany as well as performing throughout United Kingdom and Ireland. The choir have won the Male Voice section of the Cork International Festival many times including in 2023. They were victorious at the inaugural City of Derry International Choir Festival as well as successfully winning on a number of occasions since. They have broadcast on television and radio and were honoured when Phil Coulter asked them to perform on the original recording of his Irish rugby anthem - 'Ireland's call'. For the last 43 years Gordon Speers, has been their conductor and musical director.
