Bravehearts choir was set up in 2014 for cancer patients, survivors, and supporters. It has developed into a choir open to anyone who wants to sing as part of a community based choir, that also raises money for various cancer charities. The choir re-opened after covid in September 2022 with Ms Jean O'Reilly as our new conductor. Jean has an MA in music and is the music and learning support teacher at Cloaiste Muire, Crosshaven and has previously conducted school choirs in Wesley college, Dublin and Borris Vocational School, Borris and 3 previous schools. The Bravehearts held a Christmas concert in 2022 along with singing in the Marina Market. Prior to covid the choir held regular concerts and fundraising events.
