Courage

Courage, from Klæbu, Norway, is a women’s choir that began in 2008 as a group of friends wanting to have fun singing together. Over the last fifteen years, Courage has put on numerous shows performing popular music and participated in choral competitions both in Norway and abroad. We always aim to give our audience a memorable experience and we have a varied repertoire. Courage is about friendship, energy and daring to take on new challenges together. 

Achievements: 

- Norwegian championships (NM) 2015, First place in women’s choirs group B and participants in Grand Prix 

- Gdansk Choir Festival 2019, First place in equal voices 

- NM 2019, First place in women’s choirs group A and participants in Grand Prix 

- NM 2021, Third place in open group and winners of the conductor’s prize 

Astrid Rabben has conducted Courage since 2013. She has a Master of Arts in music from Norwegian University of Science and Technology in Trondheim. In 2021, she was awarded a prize during the Norwegian Championships for her achievements with Courage following the choir’s performance.
