ECBC The East Cork Barbershop Chorus

We are ECBC, The East Cork Barbershop Chorus. Primarily we sing for fun, meeting each Thursday in Carrigtwohill Community Centre. We sing in the barbershop style which means there’s no instrumental accompaniment and we sing in 4-part harmony. We formed in March 2022 when restrictions were finally lifted, and we’ve had some great fun this year. Our first official performance was at the Glounthaune Christmas Fair to support fundraising efforts for Simon. We were delighted to make new friends with other East Cork Choirs when we performed at the Barony Choir’s Inter Choral Night. New friends and new members are always welcome. We are looking forward to lots more fun and plenty of harmony in 2023.
