Eimear McCarthy Luddy


Eimear McCarthy Luddy is a singing teacher with a keen interest in vocal health and singing voice rehabilitation. She was the first Irish person to complete advanced training in voice science (also called vocology) at the National Centre for Voice and Speech in Salt Lake City. She qualified from the Royal Irish Academy of Music with a Masters in Music Performance where she also conducted research investigating vocal health education in Ireland.

Eimear founded Vocology Ireland in 2020 with the goal of bringing an approachable voice science and vocal health resource to Irish shores. As a singing teacher she maintains a busy practice of young students and professional singers. She also presents workshops to singers and singing teachers internationally.

Eimear is currently a guest lecturer at the Royal Irish Academy of Music, a vocal health trainer with the British Association for Performing Arts Medicine, and a Vocal Health First Aid Assessor for Vocal Health Education Ltd.
