Scrubs

Scrubs Choir was formed at Cork University Hospital in 2015. Membership comprises of staff from various departments throughout the campus including retirees. Scrubs is a four-part mixed choir and has developed a large repertoire of songs and has the privilege of performing locally, nationally and internationally. Scrubs performed in Lyric FM's Workplace Talent in 2017 and was invited to compete at Britain's Got Talent in 2017. Scrubs performed at the Choral Festival in Vienna in 2018. Scrubs is a hard-working choir and continued to rehearse, via zoom during the Covid 19 pandemic and made two video recordings during that time. Scrubs achieved first place in the Workplace Choir competition at the Cork Choral festival in 2022. The choir works under the excellent guidance of our musical director Patrick D'Alton.
