St. Nessan's School Choir

Limerick

St. Nessan's Choir began singing together in September 2022. The choir is made up of children from Third Class. They rehearse once a week. They sing at school events such as school assemblies and ceremonies. They sing all types of repertoire from songs in Irish to Christmas Carols. They enjoy singing the School Anthem which was written especially by pupils from the school in 2020. They recently sang to raise money for charity. Ms. Murphy enjoys conducting them and thinks they are a very dedicated group of children. She wishes them the best of luck! She would also like to thank her colleagues who helped out with the choir.

The Conductor:

Sarah Murphy holds a Bachelor of Education Degree with music from Mary Immaculate College. She achieved an honours diploma in singing from the London College of Music and Media. She performs as a contralto soloist in concerts and oratorios around Ireland.
