• promote the benefits of singing in a group as a positive aid to mental health:

• create links with cancer charities and fundraise for them;

• improve and develop our ability as a choir.

• demonstrate to ourselves and others that there is 'life to live, even with cancer.

Jean O’Reilly, Musical Director.

Jean has been the Musical Director for Bravehearts since September 2021. She has been instrumental in the re forming of the choir since covid. Jean prepared us for the Choral festival’s Afternoon in the Atrium, in 2023, which was a highlight for the choir. Jean also led the choir at 2 carol singing performances in Wilton and Douglas Village shopping centres in 2023, where we sang and raised funds for Arc Cancer support House, and Cork Cancer Care. Bravehearts choir are looking forward to another year of uplifting singing.
