Cór Scoil et Spioraid Naoimh Cailíní

Cór Scoil an Spioraid Naoimh Cailíní is conducted by Maeve-Ann O’Brien and consists of girls from 4th to 6th class. There is a long history of choral singing in Scoil an Spioraid Naoimh Cailíní . The choir has achieved great success in the past 12 years and won the Primary Schools section of Cork International Choral Festival on numerous occasions, victory also at Feis Maitiú and at the AIMS Choral Festival in Wexford. The choir sang in the Cork Opera House Christmas Concert in 2015 alongside Majellah Cullagh and Ronald Samm. They were specially chosen in 2017 to be the Children’s Chorus in Cork Opera House’s Production of Carmen and also in La Boheme in 2018.  In November 2023 the choir greatly enjoyed performing in St. Fin Barre’s Cathedral as part of the Cork International Choral Festival Christmas Concert and in February 2024 they had a wonderful time performing with the acclaimed Three Tenors in Cork Opera House.
