Grannar Góðir

Góðir grannar (Good Neighbours) is a mixed choir that has been active for over 20 years. Its members are all experienced choir singers. Their biggest events every year are the Christmas concert and the spring concert. For the spring concerts they choose their songs according to a preselected theme, e.g., “Songs from World War II”, “Cinema Songs”, “Songs about the Weather” and “The Universe”. Additionally, they perform on several occasions, such as the Reykjavík Culture Night and the Winter Festival. They have twice performed at the Nordic Choir Festival Nordklang. Recently, they took part in the Icelandic/Norwegian chamber opera "Systemet" (The Welfare System) at the "Opera Days" in Reykjavík.
