Italian Baroque Music – intimate and massive.

A Roman 3-choir mass for Easter by lost Baroque master Orazio Benevoli flits between three ensembles, sometimes with surprising agility.  The virtuosic singers of I Fagiolini combine with local choir Madrigal ’75 while between these choral pillars are passionate, filigree solo works by Monteverdi at his most imaginative.
