Sbor 18. střední a vyšší střední školy v Aténách

The Choir of 18th Junior and Senior High School of Athens was established in 2010. The members do not have any special musical education and no audition took place in order for them to be chosen. 

The rehearsals of the choir include exercises concerning posture, diaphragmatic breathing, voice development, musical reading and singing. 

The Choir participated in the International School Choir Meeting in Karditsa- Greece (2013,2014,2015, 2022), in the International School Choir Competition ¨Aleksandar Nisis Morfidis” in Novisad- Serbia (2014 3rd prize- 2015-2rd prize), in the International Choir Festival in Cork -Ireland (2017), in Goethe Institut of Athens (Seminar of multilingualism - 2017), in the International Competition for Young Musicians in Pagani- Italy (2018 1st prize), in French Institut of Athens (International Day of French- Speaking 2019), in the 9th Festival for Young Choirs in Thessaloniki - Greece, in the 12th World Choir Festival on Musical in Thessaloniki - Greece.
