Castlemartyr Choir

Castlemartyr Choir (founded in 1987) is an independent community based choir that performs music from the etablished choral repertoire of the last 500 years. The choir is well known all over Ireland for its competitive performances at choral festivals throughout the country, and from time to time overseas.

The choir gives many concert performances in the greater Cork area, and also promotes its own concerts in the East Cork region. The choir also sings at many local Castlemartyr events. The choir continues to work under the direction of its founding choir director Tomás Ó Tuama.
