Choral singers at Cork International Choral Festival 2023

Applications for participation in the next Cork International Choral Festival are now open!

Closing date for National Competition entries (Ireland’s Choir of the Year, National Schools Competitions, National Open Competitions) is Friday, 15th January 2027.

Closing date for National Non-Competitive entries is Friday, 5th February 2027.

Ireland's Choir of the Year Competition

This competition is an important performing and competitive platform for Irish choirs of national standing and offers them the opportunity of comparison with international standards of choral performance.

Workplace Choir of the Year Competition

The Workplace Choir of the Year Competition returns in conjunction with but not exclusively for our Choirworks initiative. International and Irish choirs based in the workplace have the option of entering the competition taking place in Cork City Hall on the festival weekend.
