On behalf of everyone at the Cork International Choral Festival we want to express our deep sadness on learning of the passing of Mícheál Ó Súilleabháin, Irish musician and composer acclaimed worldwide.
We were honoured to host the world premiere of his work ‘Manatha’ at the 2000 Cork International Choral Festival. His talent will be greatly missed. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.
