Andrew Lane

Andrew is a dedicated performer from Cork, Ireland, with a strong background in music and theatre. He holds a Bachelor of Music (Hons) and a Master of Arts in Music from MTU Cork School of Music, specialising in Musical Theatre Performance and Musical Direction.

Andrew’s recent performance credits include: ‘Le Fou’ in Beauty and the Beast (New Ross, Dir. Derek Shannon, March 2025), ‘Boo-Boo’ in Red Riding Hood Pantomime (The Everyman Palace Theatre, Dir. Catherine Mahon-Buckley, December 2024),‘Motel – The Tailor’ in Fiddler on the Roof (New Ross, Dir. Derek Shannon, March 2024), ‘Johnny Le Fou’ in Beauty and the Beast Pantomime (The Everyman Palace Theatre, December 2023), and ‘Buttons’ in Cinderella Pantomime (The Everyman, December 2022).

In recent years, Andrew has developed a deep passion for musical directing. He is resident conductor for ‘Castlelyons Gospel Choir’ and ’The Voices of Cork’. He teaches with CADA Performing Arts and Performers Academy in their Music and Musical Theatre departments.

Andrew’s recent Musical Direction credits include: ‘All Shook Up’ (Theatre Royal, Waterford, September 2025), ‘Broadway Boulevard’ (Garter Lane Theatre, Waterford, July 2025), ‘Stage & Score’ (Curtis Auditorium, Cork, April 2024)

Andrew is also back for the 4th consecutive year in The Everyman Panto as Buttons in Cinderella directed by the marvellous and talented director Catherine Mahon Buckley.
