Boydell Singers

Boydell Singers is Trinity’s Upper Voice Choir and is part of the Trinity College Singers Society. Founded in 2003 in honour of composer Brian Boydell, they perform both sacred and secular music, including popular and folk repertoire from Ireland and abroad. They regularly participate in concerts, competitions, and intervarsities in Ireland and overseas. Last March they performed with the Edinburgh University Singers in Scotland. Last February, the choir competed in the All-Ireland University Choral Intervarsities in Cork, winning Highly Commended in the Sacred Music and Choir’s Choice categories. Chiara Trejo Infante, the current conductor, won the Conductor’s Prize. Boydell Singers were awarded Second Place in the Upper Voice competition at Feis Ceoil in March 2024. They were featured singing in the movie “Small Things Like These” starring Cillian Murphy. In recent years, the choir has also performed in Budapest and Paris.
