Côrdydd is known as one of the most successful choirs in Wales. The choir was formed in 2000 as a mixed choir based in Cardiff. Since then, the choir has received numerous awards including becoming the Choir of Wales champions in 2022, first prize in the mixed voice category at Hull Interkultur Festival in 2023 and winning their category 13 times at the National Eisteddfod of Wales. The choir was named Choir of the Festival on 7 occasions. They also won the Choir of Choirs prize at the International Choral Festival of Wales, receiving the Sir Karl Jenkins award.

In 2019, they won an award at the City of Derry International Choral Festival for the best interpretation of early music. The choir has travelled across the world and has performed with Welsh composer Paul Mealor at Carnegie Hall in New York. They have also performed in Canada, Hong Kong and Barbados as well as working closely with Eric Whitacre and Morten Lauridsen during their visits to Wales.
