Cork Headway Choir

The Cork Headway Choir is a collective of clients and staff from the Cork branch of Headway Ireland, a service that provides rehabilitation to adults with Acquired Brain Injury. The choir has been running for the last few years and in that time, they have performed at the Joy in the Park festival, Christmas markets, Headway events, Nursing Homes, fundraisers in the local community and released an original song entitled ‘Our Oasis’.

The group comes together weekly to sing, it is a place of support, they feel less lonely, and they help each other along. Singing together brings out the best in people and for some it has helped them get their voice back.
