Dublin Youth Choir

Dublin Youth Choir offers young singers the opportunity to develop their performance experience and perform choral music at a high level. DYC Singers is DYC’s SATB choir for over 18s. This choir performs a wide variety of repertoire and has been part of a wide range of projects, including recording an album of repertoire by Seán Doherty, singing Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony with the National Symphony Orchestra, and showcasing new compositions by composition students at the Royal Irish Academy of Music. DYC Singers also enjoys attending choral festivals, and was named Ireland’s Choir of the Year 2024 at the Cork International Choral Festival, their second time to achieve this award. They are looking forward to performing with the Ulster Orchestra next weekend.
