Female Choir Gaudete was founded in 2009 and has evolved into a dedicated group of singers from Tallinn and beyond, united by a shared passion for choral music and joyful singing.

The choir’s first major appearance was at the XXVI Estonian Song Festival. Since then, Gaudete has participated in numerous events organised by the Estonian Female Choral Society (ENLS), given independent concerts in Estonia and abroad, and collaborated with several other choirs.

Our major achievements include:1st place in ENLS competition (B category), conductor’s award, and best performance of the compulsory piece in 2015; a Gold diploma at the Malaga International Choir Festival (Spain) in 2017; 1st place in ENLS competition (B category) and the title “Female Choir of the Year 2018”; 3rd place (A category) and special prize for best performance in Estonian at the ENLS competition in 2023.

Gaudete’s repertoire includes classical choral works and pop-music arrangements. The choir’s sound is known for its warmth, musicality, and emotional depth.
