‘Killeagh Choir- The Voices’, a female group, based in Killeagh, Co. Cork, are part of the SATB Killeagh Choir which was formed 28 years ago. They have travelled extensively both at home and abroad, during the past 20 years with great success and have performed on RTE Television on 2 occasions for broadcasts of RTE Mass. They have had great achievements in the past number of years, being 1st prizewinners at Cork’s own Feis Maitiu on several occasions, Navan Choral Festival, Aims Choral Festival, Limerick Church Music Festival. At Cork International Choral Festival, they have been 1st prize winners on 4 occasions and as recently as 2022 were 2nd prize winners. In February of 2022, during the pandemic, visiting adjudicator at Feis Maitiu awarded two 1st prizes for their performances in The Lynch Cup and the William Egan Perpetual trophy. In 2025 The Voices choir completed a hatrick at Cork’s own Feis Maitiu winning 1st place in all of their three competitions. While their repertoire is predominantly sacred this fun-loving highly-committed group also performs secular, classical and contemporary works.
Their conductor is Dr Mary Pedder-Daly, and their current accompanist is Gerard Moynihan.
