Montfort Youth Choir

The Montfort Youth Choir is in existence for the past 11 years and consists of approximately 60 mixed members whose ages range from 9 - 18 yrs.

The repertoire which the choir performs is predominantly musical theatre selections from the golden age of Broadway in addition to contemporary musical theatre pieces. The choir performs consistently in every major venue in Cork including the Opera House, the Everyman theatre, the Firkin Crane and City Hall. The choir have sung alongside international sopranos Cara O' Sullivan and Majella Cullagh and Lionel Richie in ‘ Live at the Marquee' in front of an audience of over 4000. The choir also perform their own show ‘Broadway Kidz’ each year to great acclaim. The choir’s Musical Director is Ms. Michelle Cooke.
