Musgrave Workplace Choir

The Musgrave Workplace Choir is an employee led ensemble based in Musgrave, Cork. Founded over ten years ago, the choir was created to foster community spirit, well being, and connection among colleagues. Open to staff from all departments and both Cork sites, it offers an inclusive and welcoming space where employees can come together to share creativity, collaboration and, above all, enjoyment. The choir is best known for its much loved annual Christmas Concert series, which has become a highlight of Musgrave’s festive calendar. These concerts raise funds for local charities and bring seasonal cheer to the workplace. In recent years the choir has built a special relationship with the Ballyphehane Day Care Centre, supporting the provision of weekly music sessions for service users and performing at the centre as part of its community outreach. The choir also plays a role in marking important company milestones. In 2026, it will help celebrate the 150th anniversary of Musgrave, reflecting its place at the heart of the organisation’s cultural life. Over time, the choir has expanded its presence beyond Musgrave, participating in public performances and national competitions. It first competed in the Choral Festival’s Workplace Choir of the Year competition in 2024 and was thrilled to win the title in 2025.
