Stellar Choir is a mixed-voice SATB community choir based in Rathmines, Dublin 6. It was founded in January 2018 by a small group of parents from Kildare Place school as a way to bring together singers in the local community. Under the artistic direction of musical director Thomas Kehoe, the choir has developed a distinctive and varied repertoire that spans contemporary choral works, jazz standards and classical choral pieces. Major milestone came in June 2025 when Stellar performed Mozart’s Vesperae de Confessore in Carnegie Hall NYC alongside choirs from the USA. They perform regularly in the Mansion House Dublin for Culture Night. They won second place in Chamber Choir Category at the AIMS Choral festival 2019. Received high commendation at the Cork festival 2024. Collaborating with Frascati Choir and Baldonnel male Choir for joint concerts. Recently sold out their Christmas concert in Sandford Church in 2025.
