Voices of Cork

The Voices of Cork is a four part harmony community choir. The choir was formed in 2005 as part of Cork City European Capital of Culture initiative. 2025 is a huge year for the choir as they celebrate their 20th anniversary. The choir aims to provide good choral music within the community, focused on people with limited access to such music and to give the community an opportunity to become members of the choir and sing in a fun and relaxed environment regardless of prior experience. The choir is made up of people of all ages from diverse backgrounds and are drawn from all over Cork and beyond. The choir is run by a committee who are all members of the choir. It is a lively choir and repertoire includes popular songs, ballads, musical theatre, jazz etc. They rehearse in St Patrick’s Infants National School, Gardiner’s Hill on Wednesdays evenings and new members are always welcome!
