Freemasons’ Hall Cork was purpose-built in the 1760s as a performance space, with supporting commercial premises on the ground floor; the uppermost floor was added in 1924-25 for additional capacity. The building - which is the provincial headquarters for Freemasonry in Cork and Kerry since 1844 and the meeting place of all Cork city lodges since 1926 - comprises a lodge room and a chapter room, with ample acoustic and facilities for vocal and instrumental performance.
