The Hospital aims to act as an advocate to the older person. They will work in partnership with the resident to meet their physical, psychological, social, emotional and spiritual needs. The dignity of all residents, each person’s individual beliefs and values are acknowledged and valued.

Cobh Community Hospital will endeavor to adopt a facilitative approach to care which will empower the residents and their families to become involved in decisions about care with privacy and dignity and situations where recovery is not an option they will adopt a carrying focus.
